Exposure History and Patrimony :

Like every year, association History and Patrimony organize its exposure, during the Days of the Inheritance.

The exposure 2006 - Discovered Religious Inheritance in the Essonne - will be open Friday 15 to Tuesday September 19 (from 9h to 12h30 and 14h to 19h), saturdays September 23 (at the same hours), and Sunday September 24 (from 14h to 19h), with the church of Marolles.

Come to admire this splendid inheritance, made up of course, buildings and objects, but also of people and events of which we must maintain the memory in a spirit opening and respect.

During this exposure, several publications, of professional quality, will be on sale, in order to make known and support work of association.

Will know that this exposure was entirely created by the voluntary ones of association, without specific financial support.

During these days, nearly 825 impassioned visited the exposure, including 137 children of the schools of Marolles.

The USM-Basketball celebrates some for ELA :

Like every year, the Sporting Union of Marolles, section basketball, organizes its festival of basketball, in the COSEC of Marolles en Hurepoix.
The topic of this year is to make known with the greatest number, the association ELA (European association against the Leucodystrophies).

This Association, which fights against the orphan genetic discases, account among its members, people like Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini or Florent Pagny.


Saturday June 10 and Sunday June 11, will be held matches of all categories, from mini-basket to seniors.
Saturday, starting from 20h30, will take place a match of official reception, with the participation of 2 senior female teams of nationale 3 : Palaiseau and Athis-Mons.

During these two days, a giant tombola is organized with the profit of ELA.

Expo at Marolles :

From Friday 18 to Tuesday September 21, 2004 (at the Farm) the association Histoiry and Patrimony organized, with all of its voluntaries, an exposition of the history of the railway line Paris-Orléans (the famous line P.O.).

This exposition, free, recalled the history of the line and its 30 stations (Marolles is 14th), through 73 panels of files, created by association, and of multiple models and objects of time.

This exposure met a frank success thanks to the 791 visitors and the 284 children of the schools of Marolles. The balance sheet remains in spite of very negative, Association not having been able profited from the financial assistance of the municipality .

This exposure interests several communes of the area (Cheptainville will present it at the beginning of November) and gives new ideas to Association for the next years (Middle Ages with Marolles, Churches and Pelerinages in the Essonne etc.).

The Choral at Marolles :

The Choral society Counterpoint organize, Friday June 18, 2004, 21 hours at the Village Hall, a free concert.

The program : Traditional (Gounod), Operette (Offenbach), Variety (Aznavour, Nougaro, Brel, Beatles...), Gospel.

Female Basket on a cloud :

After her rise from 1st Departmental Division (hen B) to Honor Departmental , for the season 2003-2004, the female senior team of the USM Basket still fills us with a direct rise in Departmental Excellence, for the season 2004-2005.

Saturday June 5 : The Festival of Basket made it possible to pay homage to a team of girlfriend and her trainer, Fred, companion of bad and good fortunes since many years.

An exposure Marolles in images : Retro-Prospect will revive Marolles, small village which grew to become a small city, through more than 80 tables.
You will be able to discover the districts which make it up since the Revolution.
The exposure will be open, at The Farm, 9 a.m. 30 to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. 30.

Support the action of the Association Histoiry and Patrimony by buying the book Marolles en Hurepoix - un peu d'histoire, on sale in the tradesmen, at the price of 25 Euros.

Basket 2003 : Marolles unconquered

On Sunday, May 4 :
The senior feminine team of USM-Basket played, on Sunday, its last match against Arpajon.

Having played against Mennecy, Villebon, Marcoussis, Crosne and Arpajon, the senior feminine team ends its unconquered season 2002-2003, with about 600 marked points against 300 taken.

After this season in 1ere Division Departementale (poule B), the team rises in Honneur Departementale Feminine, for the season 2003-2004.
