Pleasures of a country.

The Hurepoix, one of the major regions of the department of the Essonne, is considered as its historic or scientific tourism, but also as its gastronomic pleasures and its treasures of the soil !

Arpajon : Hall in oak of XVth century, church (apse and tower of XIIIth century), old houses, Freising's gardens and craft cooked pork meats.

Brétigny sur Orge : One of the capitals of French aeronautics with its Flight test centre (CEV) - Gabriel CHEVRIER - Lucien CLAUSE

Cheptainville : Breeding of DouDou (cheese dairy and dairy products), the island of birds (ornithologic garden)

Courson-Monteloup : Domain (castle, stables, park of XVIIth century)

Marolles en Hurepoix : Invitation with a walk distracting in the streets and on the ways from the old village of Marolles.

Ollainville : Full fealds vegetables of J.J. Ravet

Orsay : The City of Sciences and Research.

Saint Chéron : Boileau, the father Rapin, Huet, La Fontaine and Racine remained in the castle of Baville. Doctor Regnier, Fresnel, Mérimée, and the Ciceri decorator lived or remained in Saint-Chéron in XIXth century.

Saint-Jean-de-Beauregard : Domain (castle, park, kitchen garden and dovecote of XVIIth siècle)

Saint-Sulpice-de-Favières : Church of XIIIth and XIVth century (choir, windows of stained glasses)...

Vert-le-Grand : The roses of Hurepoix (horticulture), the garden of the maraicher (vegetables of full fields), the farm of small Charles and the farm of Fourneaux (poultry farmers)
